Many long-established industrial, commercial or residential properties have equally long-established trees in their landscape. These trees can either outgrow their space, need to be moved for expansion reasons or become dangerous due to shifting ground levels or disease. If your tree is exceptionally large, is assessed as dangerous or is in a confined area, then it becomes more effective and safer to involve a tree removal crane.
The cranes can appear to be expensive, but this is easily justified when you compare it to the significant labour hours, other machinery and length of time that would otherwise need to be engaged.
However, compared to the ease of human access, the crane is more limited in the areas within which it can work. It can only be specified to the project if there is appropriate access for it, right up to within a working distance of the tree.
Cranes are an excellent option for lifting a tree up and away from its current position and then repositioning it to a more desirable position. Cranes are also used to lift new shipped in fully grown trees off trucks and place them into the landscaped position. This is the least stressful option for the tree and the property.
